The most beautiful woman in the world
wearing a Maurice Lacroix watch
The Swiss watch and clock maker from Saignelégier was for the
first time the official timepiece sponsor at this years Miss Universe
Pageant. Since CBS and Donald J. Trump took charge of the Miss Universe
Organization the pageant has been trans-formed into a professional event
bursting with images. The perfect arena for Maurice Lacroix to present
Tomorrows Classics.
During the night of 12 to 13 May Miss Universe was selected in the Cypriot
town of Nicosia on the 49th occasion of the pageant. A live audience
of 4,000 and 4,000,000 television viewers around the world watched as
the charming and intelligent Indian Lara Dutta was selected as the most
beautiful woman in the world.
Maurice Lacroix personally presented
the newly-elected and radiant-looking Miss Uni-verse, Lara Dutta, with
a diamond-studded Miros Integral. However, she is not the only beauty
queen wearing a fine Maurice Lacroix. This year at the Miss USA pageant
on February 4 Maurice Lacroix had already presented an identical timepiece
to the winner Lynnette Cole who came fourth in the Miss Universe competition.
It was just a few years ago that Maurice
Lacroix completely revamped its collection and fundamentally changed
direction to take up the challenge of creating timepieces of the highest
quality which would become the real classics of tomorrow. By sponsoring
the Miss Universe competition the Swiss watch and clock maker has enjoyed
convincing success in finding an event which reflects the core values
of Tomorrows Classics - clas-sic, unique, precious and timeless.
The convincing integration of the new brand line is not least thanks
to carefully chosen appearances such as that at the Miss Universe competition
in Cyprus.
